39. Is a lip tie procedure painful?

Most kids feel very little discomfort during a lip tie release. We use gentle techniques, including numbing and sometimes laser tools, to make the procedure quick and as comfortable as possible.

Afterward:
-Your child may notice mild soreness or tenderness for a day or two.
-Soft foods and, if needed, over-the-counter pain relief usually manage any discomfort easily.
-Children typically bounce back quickly and can resume normal eating or feeding without difficulty.
