2. How often should kids get dental checkups?

Teeth cleanings and exams

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry suggests that children come in every six months for routine exams and cleanings. These regular visits allow us to spot any small concerns early, maintain clean and healthy teeth, and ensure your child’s smile is developing properly.

In some cases, children may need to be seen more frequently—especially if they are more susceptible to cavities, have orthodontic needs, or require closer observation. We’ll always recommend the visit schedule that best fits your child’s individual needs.
